Hit-And-Run Driver Who Killed NJ Mother Of 5 Captured, Authorities Say A 26-year-old real estate agent from Paterson was driving the hit-and-run sedan that struck and killed a Garfield mother of five outside her home, authorities confirmed. Victor E. Diaz Castenada was being held in the Bergen County Jail on Tuesday, Jan. 10, in connection with the death exactly a week earlier of Shazia Faazal, 51. Castenada was driving a 2010 Honda Civic that struck Faazal on Outwater Lane near Alaska Street at 8:51 p.m. Jan. 3 and kept going, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Njsp Nabs Fleeing Driver After Route 80 Rollover Crash Injures Four A Carlstadt man who fled a crash on Route 80 that injured four people was charged with assault by auto, among other offenses, New Jersey State Police said. Israel Arroyo, 23, was driving one of three vehicles involved in the westbound crash near northbound Route 17 exit in South Hackensack shortly after 5 p.m. Friday, NJSP Trooper Charles Marchan said.
