3 Swimmers Rescued After Getting Stranded In Jersey Shore Lake Two swimmers were hospitalized after their rescue from a lake on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. Police were called at 4:16 p.m. on Monday, June 6 for a report of a missing swimmer. A total of three swimmers were rescued in all from Harry Wright Lake with help from Good Samaritans and local firefighters from the Whiting Volunteer Fire Department and Manchester Career Fire Department, Manchester police said.
