Man, 31, Arrested For Weapons Offenses On Jersey Shore: Police A 31-year-old man from California was arrested on weapons charges in Middletown, authorities said. On Thursday, Aug. 3, at 12:33 a.m., Middletown Twp. Police Officers Shane Hall and Aidan Cary, arrested Rajiv U. Bryant, of Emeryville, California, for unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of high capacity magazines, and possession of hollow point ammunition, police said. Police Investigate Crash In Middletown Middletown police were investigating a crash, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 13 at Main Street and Grace Avenue, Middletown police said. One driver had a complaint of pain and refused transport to a medical facility.  The other driver and her two children sustained minor injuries and were transported to Hackensack Meridian Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank for treatment, police said. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage, police said.

Bicyclist Struck On Jersey Shore: Police A bicyclist was reportedly struck on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. The crash occurred before 9 a.m. at Main Street and Harmony Road in Middletown, initial reports said. It turned out to be a minor crash, Middletown police said. "The bicyclist was struck, but refused medical attention," said Middletown Cpl. Janine Kennedy.
