Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a man they say pulled a knife on a manager who confronted him for shoplifting from a Family Dollar store in Ewing. The man — pictured above — attempted to shoplift various items from the Princeton Avenue store around 5:20 p.m. on Monday, May 30, Ewing Police said in a release on Wednesday, June 8. Atlantic City Shopkeeper, 66, Dies During Armed Robbery By 12-Year-Old Boy A 66-year-old businessman from Atlantic City collapsed and died when his store was robbed at knifepoint, authorities said.  Mahmood Ansari was robbed at his store by two youths on Thursday night, according to Atlantic City Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner. At 7:41 p.m., Atlantic City police responded to a business in the 1500 block of the Boardwalk in reference to a boy with a knife.  Personnel at the Atlantic City Police Surveillance Center further advised officers that multiple juveniles were damaging the store and assaulting individuals.
