'Floating Classroom': New Jersey's Official Tall Ship To Sail From Cape May Twice This Summer If you're going to Cape May this summer, you could be able to ride on New Jersey’s official tall ship. The A.J. Meerwald will sail from the Cape May Ferry Terminal between Wednesday, June 26, and Sunday, July 7, the Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) said in a news release. The ship will return on Friday, Aug. 2 to offer public sailing and programming through Thursday, Sept. 12. NJ Teacher Surprised With 'Oscars Of Teaching' Award, $25K Prize A second-grade teacher in New Jersey got the surprise of a lifetime Friday, Oct. 7. Shaina Brenner, of Jackson's Elms Elementary School, earned the Milken Educator Award — or the "Oscars of Teaching" award — and a $25,000 check to boot.
