'Our Hearts Weep:' NJ Cross Country Champion, Aspiring Engineer Dies In Motorcycle Crash, 20
Beloved New Jersey cross country champion and aspiring mechanical engineer Reece Darren Zosche died in a motorcycle crash on Friday, Nov. 18. He was 20. Born in Denville, Reece started running cross country at the age of five, continuing the recreational program through the age of 15, his obituary says. He was homeschooled with his brothers until 10th grade, when he began attending Mendham High School. NJ Native Succumbs To Injuries After Being Shot In Line Of Duty
The Daytona Beach police officer and New Jersey native shot two months ago in the line of duty died on Tuesday. West Windsor's Jason Raynor died at 8:09 p.m. at Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach -- his family by his side. Former NJ Firefighter John Franks Dies, 39
Hunterdon County native and former Frenchtown firefighter John Franks died Nov. 24 at the age of 39. Born in Raritan Township, Franks graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School, his obituary says. He later attended the American Motorcycle Institute (AMI) in Daytona Beach, FL, where he specialized in Ducati motorcycle repair, his memorial says.
