Man Convicted In Pleasantville HS Football Game Shooting, Killing 10-Year-Old Spectator A 35-year-old Atlantic City man has been convicted of murder in a Pleasantville High School football game shooting that killed a 10-year-old boy and wounded two other spectators, authorities said. Alvin Wyatt was convicted on Thursday, July 27, after a five-day jury trial, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. In addition to the murder conviction, the jury convicted Wyatt of two counts of attempted murder, unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, and certain persons not to possess firearms, the prosecutor said. Weapons Arsenal Sends NJ White Supremacist To Federal Prison For 62 Months A Sussex County man who was once stabbed in a biker bar brawl was sentenced to more than five years in federal prison for an assortment of illegal weapons and ammo found by authorities after he crashed his van.
