South Jersey Man Charged With Sharing Child Pornography Via SnapChat: Prosecutor
A 35-year-old man from Egg Harbor Township has been charged in connection with the distribution of child abuse images and videos via SnapChat, authorities said. William Roman Jr., was arrested without incident, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a referral of inappropriate content distributed on the social media application SnapChat. NJ Boy Shot Unconscious With Taser By Family Friend: Police
A family friend reportedly tased a boy unconscious during alleged "horseplay," authorities said. On Monday, March 28, at 02:06 p.m., Egg Harbor police were called to a residence in the West Atlantic City section of the township regarding a medical emergency. Police found an unconscious and unresponsive 12-year-old boy who had been shot in the head with a taser. A South Jersey man has been arrested in connection with a head-on crash that killed a motorcyclist, authorities said. Steven Hanlin of Egg Harbor City was arrested on Monday by New Jersey State Police and members of the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Officer, according to Prosecutor Cary Shill. The fatal crash occurred on Oct. 3, 2020, on Clarks Landing Road in Port Republic, Shill said. New Jersey's attorney general released surveillance video Friday of an incident involving a 41-year-old Atlantic County Jail inmate who later died after being taken to a local hospital. Hamilton Township police responding to a trespassing call arrested Mario Terruso, of Mays Landing, shortly after 1 p.m. Sept. 15, 2019, Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal said. Two men and a woman from Camden were arrested while trying to leave Atlantic City after an armed robbery, authorities said. At 5:35 a.m. on Sunday, patrol officers responded to the beach block of New York Avenue for a report of a man robbed at gunpoint, according to Atlantic City police. A 35-year-old woman from Burlington County has been arrested in connection with a drug customer's fatal overdoes on fentanyl, authorities said.
