In a news release, Toms River police said three possible burglaries happened in the Tallymawr development of North Dover early in the morning on Thursday, Apr. 4. The suspects appeared to be the same in each case.

At around 3:06 a.m., four suspects wearing dark clothing and face coverings broke through a front window of a home on Reynolds Avenue. The burglars took more than $100,000 in jewelry and cameras while the homeowners were sleeping.

The suspects then started the engine of an Audi that was parked in a driveway on Brentwood Avenue. They left the vehicle running and went to a third home on Brentwood at around 3:30 a.m.

At around 3:37 a.m., homeowners at the third house woke up when they heard someone trying to break in from the backyard. The suspects broke a downstairs back window but ran away when the homeowners awoke and it's unclear if anything was stolen from this home.

Anyone with information about the incidents should call the Toms River Police Department at 732-349-0150, ext. 1292 or 1323.
