Community Rallies Around Paterson Teacher Injured In Car Crash
In an instant, Shamika Butler's life changed. The Paterson resident, who teaches at Kids R Kids Learning Academy in Montville, suffered multiple injuries in a recent car crash. The injuries have prevented Butler from being able to work and take care of her two-year-old son Aiden. She also lost her vehicle and faces multiple medical bills. A fundraiser has been set up to assist Butler. As of Wednesday, Sept. 27, more than $3,800 has been raised.
