The big winner at the Red Bulls game on Saturday, June 3 wasn't on the field. At halftime of the Red Bulls-Orlando FC game on the turf at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, a man spun the Bigger Spin, New Jersey Lottery's newest wheel based $10 scratch off ticket and won $400,000, the biggest prize available. The crowd roared as the lucky winner jumped in the air and began celebrating, overwhelmed with happiness. A brawl outside the Red Bull Arena during a doubleheader soccer match drew a massive police presence and left at least one person injured Sunday evening. Bear Jumps On Roof, Hangs Around Wawa During Trek Through Hudson County
A black bear was spotted in some unusual places this weekend in Hudson County. The animal was first reported near the Kearny Wawa around 4 p.m. Saturday, then at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison. Approximately 12 hours later, the bear was spotted on top of a business at Cleveland and Passaic avenues. Police said the bear eventually climbed down and ran across the street to the Hampton Inn.
