Authorities: Shooting Victim Found During Passaic Traffic Stop Had Gun Of His Own A Paterson man who was wounded during a shooting had a gun of his own in the trunk when Passaic police stopped his car on the way to the hospital, authorities said. A Passaic police officer stopped the speeding vehicle at Tulip and Oak streets after hearing gunshots before dawn near the corner of Main Avenue and Chestnut Street on Sept. 7.
