Propane Tank Sparks Bayonne House Fire, 6 Displaced Six people were displaced and one person suffered minor injuries in a Bayonne house fire sparked by a propane tank Saturday, authorities said. Firefighters arrived to heavy fire and smoke billowing from the third floor of the home at 42 Trask Ave., when they arrived at 12:03 p.m., Bayonne Fire Chief Keith Weaver said. Arriving units found individuals on a tug boat in the Kill van Kull pulling the victim aboard, located just east of the bridge, Bayonne Fire Department Deputy Chief Bill Bartos said. 11 Residents Displaced In Bayonne House Fire Nearly a dozen people were displaced in a Bayonne fire early Christmas Morning.  Flames consumed the rear portion of the first floor of 9 Andrew St., when crews arrived around 2 a.m. Friday, Dec. 25, Bayonne Fire Chief Keith Weaver said.  Firefighters stretched multiple hand-lines in to the building, keeping the blaze from spreading to the second floor and adjacent building.
