Officer Thomas Valente stopped the car driven by 32-year-old Grigory Feldshtein of Warren on the highway’s southbound side just after 10:30 p.m. Nov. 11, police said.

“After returning from his patrol car to speak with the driver, the officer noticed a greenish brown leafy substance in the driver’s teeth that was not there when the driver was initially stopped,” a report states.

Valente questioned Feldshtein, who told him he’d eaten pot, it says.

More marijuana was found in the car and Feldshtein was arrested, according to police.

He was taken to the Passaic County Jail and later released on a summons charging him with pot possession, tampering with evidence, speeding and operating a motor vehicle while carrying drugs.
