RINGWOOD, N.J. – A Ringwood business owner previously convicted of child endangerment was uploading kiddie porn to his phone, said authorities who arrested him.
Fernando Isaza, 61, was arrested following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that led to raid at his Lakeview Avenue home and the Skyline Drive office of his janitorial supply business, Passaic County Sheriff Richard H. Berdnik said Thursday.
Isaza, who was convicted in 2014 of endangering the welfare of a 9-year-old girl he’d been left alone with, remained held in the Passaic County Jail on Thursday.
He’s charged with possession and distribution of child pornography, among other offenses, the sheriff said.
Meanwhile, forensic experts continued to examine “numerous computers and storage devices…for additional images of child pornography,” Berdnik said.
