RINGWOOD, N.J. -- Herbert W. Blanchfield passed away on Nov. 6. He was 69.
Born in Paterson, Blanchfield lived in Mahwah before moving to Ringwood 25 years ago. He graduated from Rutgers University with a Master’s Degree in Business and studied at the University of Madrid.
Blanchfield was the son of the late Herbert and Virginia Blanchfield and the brother of Michael Blanchfield and his wife Carol of Franklin Lakes and the late Dennis Blachfield.
Blanchfield is also survived by his nieces Theodora Blanchfield, Karen White and Elizabeth King as well as several grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, located at 530 High Mountain Road in Franklin Lakes. Funeral Services Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
