West Milford Offers Boating Course

WEST MILFORD, N.J. -- The Greenwood Lake Commission is sponsoring a boat license course Sunday, Feb. 7 at the Greenwood Lake Airport in West Milford.

Attendees must be ages 13 and older, and the cost of the class is $75, which includes materials and pizza for lunch.

The class starts at 9 a.m. and ends around 4 p.m.

You can call 973-506-7800 or e-mail info@gwlc.org to sign up or learn more. The next class will be Sunday, May 15.

All proceeds go to the commission, which is an organization created to maintain the scenic beauty and environmental resources of Greenwood Lake. Completing this course will give you your boating license.

The Greenwood Lake Airport is at 126 Airport Road, West Milford.
