Thunderstorms Are Headed To North Passaic

PASSAIC COUNTY, N.J. – The local Passaic County forecast from the National Weather Service predicts a wild Friday with thunderstorms leading into a comfortable weekend.

Friday will be warm with the daytime high reaching 71, but as the day goes on, the chances for storms will increase to roughly 80 percent. Rain totals could fall between a tenth and quarter of an inch.

As for the weekend, once the rain and clouds clear out late Friday, Saturday and Sunday look sunnier and cooler.

Daytime highs will reach 60 on Saturday and 65 on Sunday, with nighttime lows hitting 40 on Saturday and 46 on Sunday.

Columbus Day looks sunny and warm, with highs hitting 70.
