Bloomingdale PTA Holds Family Reading Night

BLOOMINGDALE, N.J. -- Children and parents filled a church in Bloomingdale for a PTA-sponsored bedtime story event March 24.

The Bloomingdale PTA Family Reading Night ran from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, with everyone dressed in comfortable pajamas, and toting favorite blankets and pillows.  

As an added bonus, National Waffle Day was celebrated, and participants had a hot meal meal.

New Bloomingdale librarian Emily Macleod spearheaded the event and coordinated the creation and reading of stories. 

Bloomingdale United Methodist Church is located at 65 Main St.
