BLOOMINGDALE, N.J. -- Children and parents filled a church in Bloomingdale for a PTA-sponsored bedtime story event March 24.
The Bloomingdale PTA Family Reading Night ran from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, with everyone dressed in comfortable pajamas, and toting favorite blankets and pillows.
As an added bonus, National Waffle Day was celebrated, and participants had a hot meal meal.
New Bloomingdale librarian Emily Macleod spearheaded the event and coordinated the creation and reading of stories.
Bloomingdale United Methodist Church is located at 65 Main St.
