The head of a Jersey Shore police department will step down about three months after a heated interaction between him and one of his sergeants during a crash investigation, officials said. A heated interaction between the chief and sergeant of a Jersey Shore police department in November 2023 has become the center of an investigation, Daily Voice has learned.
