: Mahwah Police Resuscitate Rockland Teen At Ramapo Reservation
A drowning teen from Rockland was resuscitated by Mahwah police after his friends pulled him from a lake in the Ramapo mountains, authorities said. The 17-year-old Spring Valley boy was surrounded by his friends when Mahwah Police Officers Nicholas Williams, Ryan Moore, Connor Gilgen, Luke Rice and Liam Kantanas reached the upper lake at the Ramapo Reservation around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, Capt. New Milford PD: 'Agitated' Pulled-Over Pickup Driver Packed Loaded Pistol
An "agitated" driver from Virginia had a loaded gun in the cab of his pickup truck when New Milford police pulled him over before dawn Friday, authorities said. Officer Nicholas Williams stopped the truck on River Road near Clinton Avenue for several violations shortly before 1 a.m., Detective Lt. Kevin Van Saders said. Officer Andrew Lignos and Sgt. Paterson Detectives Foil Street Robbery, Arrest Gunman
Two men were being robbed at gunpoint on a dark street when a pair of Paterson detectives came to the rescue. Detectives Rene Alicea and Joseph Aboyoun of the Street Crime Unit were in the 200 block of 12th Avenue around 1 a.m. Saturday when they saw the victims with their hands in the air, Police Director Jerry Speziale said.
