Man Stabbed, Woman Slashed, Suspect Bashed In Head With Frying Pan In East Rutherford A domestic violence incident in East Rutherford sent three family members to the hospital, including the alleged assailant, responders said. A 58-year-old man and his 24-year-old daughter were taken to Hackensack University Medical Center after he'd been stabbed and she'd been slashed Sunday night at a multi-family home on Carlton Avenue near the Wallington border, they said. Warehouse Fire Doused In East Rutherford East Rutherford firefighters quickly doused an afternoon warehouse blaze. The two-alarm fire broke out around 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 21 in a 177,000-square-foot industrial office complex leased by Star Glo Industries on Carlton Avenue at Lois Lane. Sprinklers helped tamp the flames, which firefighters said ran across a ceiling. They had the fire knocked down in under a half-hour. No injuries were reported.
