DWI Suspected After Driver Clips Pole, Slams Into Tree In Glen Rock: Police
A driver was suspected of being under the influence when her SUV clipped a utility pole and slammed into a tree early Monday night in Glen Rock. The Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps took her to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood with a police escort following the 6:15 p.m. Dec. 4 crash in the 600 block of Harristown Road. Hydrant Knocked Down In Head-On Glen Rock Crash
At least one victim was hospitalized following a Saturday afternoon head-on crash on a busy Glen Rock street. A fire hydrant was knocked off its foundation when two sedans collided at the intersection of Berkeley Place and Rock Road. ? Police Seek Hit-Run Truck That Struck Bicyclist In Glen Rock
Glen Rock police were searching for a truck that struck a bicyclist and kept going Thursday afternoon. The victim flagged down a police officer after the truck's passenger-side mirror struck her on Harristown Road, near the intersection of Berkeley Place, and broke off just after 2 p.m., Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. She described the truck as a black utility-type vehicle commonly used for construction or landscaping. It was last seen headed east on Harristown Road towards Ackerman Avenue, the chief said.
