A Morris County man tried to hide an illegal assault rifle from police by breaking it down and giving different parts to each of his family members, authorities said. The Washington Township Police Department received reports that a Long Valley man illegally possessed an assault rifle on Thursday, Sept. 8, the department said in a release on Tuesday, Sept. 13. Maryland State Police have released harrowing details in the quadruple murder-suicide involving two young Pennsylvania girls, their father and his alleged accomplice. The manhunt for Robert Vicosa, 41, Tia Bynam, 35, and Vicosa's daughters, Giana, 7, and Aaminah, 6, came to a tragic end on Thursday around 2:30 p.m., MSP said in a news release. A South Jersey couple with an infant were caught with 700 heroin folds, an AK-47 and nearly $300,000 in drug cash, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said Wednesday night. An investigation that began in Bergen County brought Musella’s investigators to the Ewing Township home of Pedro DeJesus, 28, and Frances Perez-Arias, 22.
