Even though the team had only been organized for a few weeks, it competed against some of the top high school programs in the sate, ending with a 1-3 record. The team is already making plans to compete in multiple tournaments next year, aiming to qualify for the Division 1 NJ High School Championships.

Volunteer coach Anthony Corona noted,

My aim was to help the boys develop into a cohesive, athletic and skilled Ultimate team, all the while embodying the essence of Ultimate, termed the Spirit of the Game. Being self-officiated, Ultimate really relies on solid sportsmanship, fairness and honor, along with having a great time chasing plastic on a football-sized field with your friends. The guys came back tired, sunburned and dehydrated but definitely not defeated. They have the Ultimate bug.
