It was Giovanni Latino of Norwood (7-8); Tyler Mertz of Dumont (9-10); Brandon Policare of New City, N.Y. (11-12); and DJ Almanzor of Norwood (13-14) who slugged more long balls than the competitors in their respective age groups.
DJ Dino Russo played music and announced each hitter.
Callahan's of Norwood gave out 75 "super dogs" to the campers and their families, DeBrino said.
"It's amazing to give back to the community," said DeBrino, a Northvale product and former standout pitcher for Northern Valley/Old Tappan. "Me and my business partner Angelo Mazza give our heart and soul to the kids."
The home run derby closed the weeklong camp, which ran from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
DeBrino hosted the first ever Junior Home Run Derby, sponsored by Major League Baseball, back in May.
