In the study, National Jurist recognized twenty of the top law schools for their excellence in three fields of public service: government, public defendant/prosecutors and public interest. Pace was one of 20 schools listed in the public interest discipline.
“It is no surprise to us that Pace Law was recently named one of the best law schools for public interest law,” said David Yassky, Dean of Pace Law School. “Many of our students go on to serve the public through positions in government and the non-profit sector – advocating for victims, protecting the environment, representing ordinary citizens and advancing the public good. Demand for public interest lawyers is intense and we are proud that many of our accomplished graduates are filling that need.”
According to National Jurist, the rankings are based on curricular offerings, employment placement, and debt, starting salary and LRAP programs.
