Northern Valley Regional High Launches Winter Color Guard

OLD TAPPAN, N.J. -- The Northern Valley Regional High School's Winter Color Guard made its debut during a competition at West Milford High School on Sunday, Jan. 17.

The very first public performance of the Northern Valley Winter Guard. This took place at West Milford HS on January 17, 2016.

The guard is comprised of 25 students from both Northern Valley Old Tappan and Northern Valley Demarest High Schools.

The Northern Valley Regional High School District Winter Guard’s 2016 program is entitled "My Favorite Song" and is performed to the song "Tim McGraw" by Taylor Swift.

Members had the opportunity to showcase their dance, flag, rifle and sabre skills twice at the preview show - once for the judges only and a second time for an audience.

The NVRHS Winter Guard will perform at two competitions on April 16 in Central Village, Conn. and April 23 at the US Bands Championships at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania.
