Norwood police seek Jeep in reported luring incident

UPDATE: Norwood police were seeking the public’s help following a luring report involving two schoolchildren outside Norwood Public School.

They were looking for a silver Jeep Wrangler with a covered spare tire on the back following the incident near Tappan Road and Glenn Avenue around 3:15 p.m.

The driver, who reportedly called over two children, was described as white, about 40 years old, with a scruffy beard and eyeglasses.

They ran and he took off north on Tappan Road, police said.
