Officer Justin Fox sensed something wasn’t right when he stopped the vehicle before dawn yesterday on quiet Whitman Street after the driver failed to keep right.

Running a background check, he discovered that 56-year-old Robin Allen Glackin was wanted by Missouri authorities for skipping court on a host of offenses, including domestic violence and DWI, Haworth Sgt. Michael Gracey told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

He also failed to answer a summons from Palisades Interstate Parkway Police for driving without a license more than four years ago, records show.

Glackin didn’t have a license when Fox got him, either.

It turns out Glackin was on his way to the city to visit his son, who lives there.

He was being held without bond this morning for Jefferson County Sheriff’s officers, who were on their way to pick him up.

Haworth police have also charged him with being a fugitive from justice and issued motor vehicle summonses.
