Stephen Pirrone (NJDOC)
A federal grand jury in Newark indicted Pirrone, 50, last month on charges of filing “false, fictitious and fraudulent claims” for six straight years, beginning with 2003.
The government may have him dead to rights, considering its claim that Pirrone created the false W-2s for a relative, as well. That relative hasn’t been charged, which in grand jury circles means one thing: unindicted co-conspirator.
Pirrone was sentenced to three years in prison in December for a burglary conviction. He’s serving his sentence at South Woods State Prison in Bridgeton.
