Drunken mother swings lug wrench at father, hits their 3-year-old son instead

Emergency workers rushed the boy to Jersey City Medical Center, where he was treated for a cut on his nose, according to a report in the Jersey Journal.

The 38-year-old father was treated at the scene for a cut on his arm, the newspaper said. He said he got whacked in the face and the arm.

A “highly intoxicated” Coco Barker of Kennedy Boulevard was charged with aggravated assault, domestic violence, and weapons possession charges.

DYFS was notified, police said.
