NORWOOD, N.J. – Patricia A. Merriman, a resident of Norwood and formerly of New Milford, died Friday, July 8.
She was born in the Bronx, N.Y. and moved to New Milford in 1971. She was a resident of Norwood the past 13 years. She was an Irish step dancer and Eucharistic Minister at St. Anthony’s Church for many years.
She is survived by her husband John; children Robert Dennerlein and wife Carla, Jean Marie Petro and husband Christopher, Bill Merriman and wife Jennifer, and Richard Merriman and wife Traci; and grandchildren, Rob, Mary Kate, Kristen, Sara, Jessica, Kelly, Emily and Patrick.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony’s Church, 199 Walnut St., Northvale with interment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
Donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, with a restriction to lung cancer, 20 Mercer St., Hackensack, NJ 07601.
