HAWORTH, N.J. -- Laura A. Bertinelli, of Haworth, died on Wednesday, Feb. 8. She was 102.

Bertinelli was an active parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Haworth and was a member of its sewing group. She also belonged to the Haworth, Closter and Northvale senior centers.

She is survived by her children, John and his wife Lisa of Old Tappan, Joan Tobey of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Mary Ann Lindner and her husband Walter of Montgomery, New York; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. 

Bertinelli was preceded by her husband, John Peter Bertinelli, and her sister, Rosetta Buratti.

Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, at the Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave., in Northvale. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, in Haworth. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, in Paramus.
