ROCKLEIGH, N.J.-- Rockleigh resident Helen (Hatziorfanos) Galitis died Sunday, Jan. 31. She was 82.
Born in Greece, Galitis worked as a mail clerk at Prentice Hall in Englewood Cliffs before she retired.
She is survived by her children, Patty Galitis and Jimmy Galitis and his wife Sofia; grandchildren Valentina and Theodore; six siblings; and many family members and friends.
Galitis was predeceased by her husband, Theodoros.
Visiting hours will be from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4 at the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5 at the funeral home, then to the Greek Ascension Orthodox Church in Fairview, for a 10 a.m. funeral service. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
