TAPPAN, N.J. -- Despina Schildhorn, a resident of Tappan, died Sunday, Jan. 31.
She was an active member of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, particularly with the Philoptochos.
She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth D’Aquino and her husband, Leonard, of Middlebrook, Va.; three grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, and Catherine; a cherished sister-in-law, Margaret (Midge) Haramis; and a number of special nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Peter G. Schildhorn; her son Peter J. Schildhorn; and three brothers, Nicholas, Vas, and George Haramis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
