NORTHVALE, N.J. — Alfred G. Becker, 85, of Northvale, died Tuesday, Oct. 25.
He served his country in the Korean War as a veteran of both the U.S. Army and Air Force.
He retired from New York Telephone as a systems technician.
He is survived by his wife, Canela (nee Reppas); children, Jan Siolos and husband Kyriakos, Paul Becker, Priscilla Scioscia and husband Mark and Alexis Esposito husband Sal; grandchildren, Perry, Paul, George, Nicole, Gregory, Daniel and Kayla; and sisters, Bertha Weston and the late Henrietta and Rosetta.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. John the Theologian Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 353 E. Clinton Ave., Tenafly with interment to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting hours are from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale.
