Starting Jan. 1, curbside garbage pickup will occur Tuesdays and Fridays, the borough's website states. Haworth previously had rear-yeard pickup.

The switch to curbside pickup will save the borough an increase of $77,000 per year, the website states.

Pickup will occur between 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Recycling pickup will continue Wednesdays, but cardboard and paper must be separated in one container. Glass, plastic and aluminum can be separated into another container, the borough website states.

Yard debris will still be collected Mondays starting April 11, but will be extended to October.
