Rockleigh's Jewish Family Home Recognizes National Nutrition Month

ROCKLEIGH, N.J. -- The Jewish Family Home in Rockleigh will host several events throughout March to honor National Nutrition month.

Guests can test their nutrition knowledge at Nutrition Jeopardy on March 1 at 1 p.m. with personal trainer and fitness coach Patrick Schoenebom.

Two, one-hour workshops about aging well and dealing with anxiety will be held on March 8. Registration will begin with a continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m. The workshops will be held at 9 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. 

Jean Duroseau, director of food services for the Jewish Family Home will show how to make a nutritious chicken soup on March 15 at 2:30 p.m. A discussion will follow on what makes chicken soup so healthy. 

Music and motion for seniors will be held on March 23 at 10 a.m. Music will be provided by Rafael Muniz.

Registered Dietician Jenna M. Amos will host a nutrition myth busting seminar on March 29 at 2 p.m.
