Rockleigh Adult Care Center Inducts Woman Into 'Red Hat Society'

ROCKLEIGH, N.J. -- Gallen Adult Day Health Care Center held a special celebration in honor of participant Cathy O’Donnell's 50th birthday recently.

“We 'hat'uated her,” Denise Rieser the Gallen Director of Recreation told Daily Voice. “We inducted her into the Red Hat society.”

The society honors those who have reached a birthday milestone.

The Gallen Adult Day Health Care Center is a community based program which offers participants the opportunity to socialize with peers and maintain or improve their level of functioning so that they can remain in their community.

Gallen, part of Jewish Home at Home, also provides services to caregivers who have the responsibility of caring for an older adult who requires a structured, supervised setting.
