Drug Dealer Sold Fentanyl Elixir To 28-Year-Old Man Before Fatal Morris County OD: Cops
A 26-year-old man has been charged in the fatal overdose of a 28-year-old man last February in Morris County, authorities said. Anthony Dello Russo, of Cedar Knolls (Hanover), is believed to have sold a man identified only as T.H. the fentanyl and cocaine that killed him on Feb. 16, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll said. The cause of death for T.H., who was found dead at a home in Whippany, was combined toxicity of cocaine, fentanyl, and acetyl fentanyl, Carroll said alongside Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Hanover Township Police Chief Michael Loock. NJ Man, 69, Sexually Assaulted Minor In Car In Parking Lot: Prosecutors
A 69-year-old Whippany resident was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a minor in a parking lot, authorities said. Livingston officers responding to reports of suspicious activity in a car found Alan Kelsey, on Wednesday, Aug. 2, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II said. Kelsey was charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, Stephens said. It was not immediately clear where the child was.

21-Year-Old Man Killed In Route 80 Crash
A 21-year-old Morris County man was killed in a Route 80 crash over the weekend, authorities said. Kevin Barradas of Dover was heading east in a Saab 93 when his car veered off the road to the right and hit a road marker in Parsippany on Friday evening, New Jersey State Police said. The car overturned and hit a tree, killing Barradas. The exit lane for Exit 45, which leads to Lake Hiawatha and Whippany, was closed for about two hours following the collision, State Police reported.

A horn described as a historical artifact was stolen from a New Jersey locomotive during a public display, and a $2,000 reward is being offered for clues on the culprit. Morristown & Erie Railway’s horn was stolen while locomotive No. 19 was on public display in Whippany over the Fourth of July weekend, according to a Facebook post from the Tri-State Railway Historical Society. A 64-year-old resident was killed in a fire in a Parsippany garden apartment Sunday afternoon, responders said. His name was being withheld pending notification of next of kin. A teacher at a Whippany daycare center was arrested Thursday on charges of drug possession and child endangerment after she allegedly brought narcotics to the school, WABC 7 reported. Crystal Iacouzzi, 35, who worked for The Learning Experience, dropped her purse, which contained illegal pills, according to a parent who spoke to WABC.
