Wayne Massage Parlor Ordered Shut For Repeated Violations (Not All COVID Related)
A Wayne massage parlor was ordered closed by township officials for repeated violations, records show. A health inspector visited Head 2 Toe Massage and Spa on Route 23 in March, when all non-essential businesses were ordered closed at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to paperwork released by NorthJersey.com. The inspector found a refrigerator full of food, and ordered the spa's new owner Lihua Ding, of Queens, NY, to close immediately, the outlet reports. Morris County Town Sees 39 Percent Hike In Water Sewer Fees
The mayor of one Morris County town said he was left with no choice but to increase the tax rate on water sewer fees. Come the next quarterly billing cycle, Parsippany-Troy Hills' new 39 percent will show up on the bill. That means residents will be paying approximately $150 a month in the fees. Washington Township Residents Petition To Keep Smoke Shop From Opening
Dozens of Washington Township residents are petitioning to keep a smoke shop from opening in town and hope to ultimately change ordinances around smoke, vape and legalized marijuana sales in the town as other local municipalities have done.
