Prostitution, loud music and fights both inside and outside a Paterson bar brought vice-squad detectives who arrested the owner, two managers and three others, authorities said.
Corona Bar on Totowa Avenue was one of two gin joints raided and closed by city authorities over the past week following undercover operations, they said.
The bar had been illegally operating after hours, city Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said, adding that police also found a 17-year-old girl there during a raid.

An undercover operation led to a raid on a Paterson sports bar and the arrests of eight people on a whopping 32 combined charges, authorities said.
Working together, investigators from the city’s vice and narcotics unit infiltrated the Terrace Inn on Totowa Avenue, seizing 10 bags of cocaine and few hundred dollars in alleged proceeds, Police Director Jerry Speziale said.
The joint operation also produced 11 Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) charges against the business, he said.

Sheriff: Bloomingdale Drive-By Drug Buyer Nearly Runs Down Detective
PATERSON, N.J. -- A drive-by drug buyer from out of town nearly ran down a Passaic County sheriff's detective during a Paterson street bust, authorities said.
Acting on a tip, detectives were watching when a red Mazda double-parked in front of 247 Liberty Street around 8:30 p.m. Monday, Sheriff Richard H. Berdnik said.
Moments later, 27-year-old Savion L. Clark came out, handed the driver several items and received cash in return, the sheriff said.
Clark then got into an idling black Chevrolet as detectives moved in.
