ON TV: Emmy Award-Winner Shines Light On Paterson Pizza Icon Patsy's Tavern This won't be the first time Patsy's Tavern is being recognized for its pizza. The 7th Avenue pizzeria is being featured on Emmy Award-winner Christine Sloan's Fios1 segment "Restaurant Hunters," which seeks the best eateries in New Jersey. Patsy Barbarulo opened the tavern with his wife in 1931 on the first floor of their apartment building.
