Sussex County Skydiver Flown To Hospital After 50-Foot Fall: Developing A skydiver in Sussex County was being flown to a nearby hospital after falling 50 feet, developing reports say. A male skydiver fell near 51 Haggerty Rd. in Wantage around 3 p.m. on Friday, August 19, according to initial and unconfirmed reports. The man initially went missing but was found in a tree before falling about 50 feet, the initial report says. Atlantic Air 3 medical helicopter was called to land near the accident scene to take the man to a nearby hospital for injury treatment, according to the report. Paramus Man Dies In PA Skydiving Accident A 74-year-old New Jersey man died in a Pennsylvania skydiving accident Sunday, officials said. Ed Harney, of Paramus (Bergen County) -- an experienced skydiver -- He jumped with three other experienced skydivers with Sky’s the Limit Skydiving Center around 11:30 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police said. The group jumped from approximately 14,000 feet. At 5,000 feet, it appeared Harney’s parachute was the first to open, but he began to spin, eventually separating from his parachute. The coroner will release an official cause of death after an autopsy, but PSP says the death was accidental.…
