Death Of Mom Found After Disappearance Leaves Loved Ones Reeling Norelis Mendoza's family is grieving following the discovery of her body on Route 440 on Wednesday, May 17. Mendoza, a Lindenwold resident, was last seen leaving her mother's house in Jersey City on the evening of Saturday, May 13 and never returned home.  Her family reported her missing on Mother's Day. Footage of Mendoza on the night of her disappearance was discovered on Tuesday, May 16 and her body was recovered the next morning.
