Cheeseburger In Paradise Closes Last Location -- Located In North Jersey
Cheeseburger in Paradise has closed its last location, located in North Jersey. The eatery at 700 Plaza Dr., in Secaucus closed in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The restaurant's website had been disabled as of Tuesday evening. The eatery's parent company Luby's -- which also operates Fuddruckers and Luby’s Cafeteria, both to be sold -- earlier this month approved plans to have its assets sold and liquidated.

Charlie Brown's In Old Tappan Shutters After Nearly 40 Years
Charlie Brown's Fresh Grill in Old Tappan has closed its doors. "Closing a restaurant is never an easy decision," the nearly-40-year-old Old Tappan Road restaurant said in an email to customers. Its two other Bergen County locations in Oradell and Washington Township remain open. Restaurant employees were transferred or given the option to work at one of the other 12 Charlie Brown locations.

Ramsey's Olive Garden has shut its doors. The Route 17 northbound restaurant closed earlier this month after 15 years, following in the footsteps of the Livingston location -- which shuttered in late August. Several other Olive Gardens remain open in the area: Wayne, Paramus and Secaucus, to name a few. No word yet on what's replacing the Italian eatery.

Applebee's in East Hanover has shut its doors after more than 14 years. The Office Tavern -- with locations in Ridgewood, Morristown and Summit -- will be replacing the Hanover Commons restaurant, DailyRecord.com reports.
