Shooting, Bus Crash End East Orange Police Pursuit
A law enforcement officer fired a shot and an NJ TRANSIT bus was involved in a crash during a pursuit in East Orange on Sunday, responders said. An SUV apparently was being pursued when it crashed and its three occupants bailed out at the intersection of Springdale and Arlington avenues near the Garden State Parkway overpass around noon on March 26. : NJ Murder Suspect, 28, Captured On Roof Of Route 46 Hotel In Wayne Identified
An ex-con from North Carolina wanted in an Essex County homicide was captured on the roof of a Route 46 hotel in Wayne before dawn Tuesday, multiple law enforcement sources told Daily Voice. The search began after Derrick Anthony Younger, 28, ran from a Route 46 traffic stop near Route 23 around midnight. Van Pursuit From NY State Ends In Paramus With Vehicles Struck, Philadelphia Driver Caught
UPDATE: A multi-agency pursuit Thursday night that began in upstate New York ended 100 miles away in Paramus Thursday night after a Brooklyn man rammed two police cars with a U-Haul van that he was driving on two front rims and a rear flat tire, police said. Mark Simpson, 31, got out of the van shortly after crashing around 10:30 p.m., then hopped the highway divider and ran behind the Suburban Diner before police nabbed him moments later, authorities said.
