New Starbucks With Drive-Thru Opens In Bergen County
A brand-new Starbucks has opened in Bergen County. The coffee chain's new location is located on River Street at the Print House, a mixed-use development complete with eateries and medical offices at the former site of the Bergen Record. The 3,000-square-foot Starbucks includes an outdoor patio and drive-thru. The leasing agreement was announced by NAI Hanson, who represents the River Street development, last March. New Grocery Store Coming To Downtown Hackensack
Hackensack is getting a new grocery store. Maharaja Hypermarket signed a lease in a 3,500-square-foot space on Main Street. The full-service grocery store will be located at the ground floor of Crossroads 389, located at 389 Main St. The five-story, 119,000-square-foot mixed-use building opened earlier this year. It wasn't immediately clear if Maharaja Hypermarket was affiliated with Maharaja Store, an Indian grocer that ships across the United States. Maharaja translates to prince, or great ruler. Hackensack YMCA Leaving After 90 Years
The Hackensack YMCA will be leaving its Main Street property after 90 years. Financial decline in the last 10 years prompted the Greater Bergen County YMCA to sell the property, it said in a statement released last week. A new location will open in New Milford on April 1. Meanwhile, the Hackensack building is under contract for sale with a development partner.
