Suspected Human Remains Recovered At Site Of Morris County House Fire
Suspected human remains were recovered at the site of a Morris Township house fire that broke out early Friday, Aug. 5, authorities said. Bodies believed to be those of Robert Ricciardi, 87, and Gemma Ricciardi, 85, were found Saturday afternoon at their Normandy Heights Road home, local police said. The Morris Township Fire Department battled the blaze for several hours before it was fully extinguished. Repeated efforts by emergency crews to locate the Ricciardis had been unsuccessful due to the extent of the damages, Carroll said. Additional details were not released.

Fourteen children were hospitalized with breathing problems after being exposed to higher-than-normal levels of chlorine during summer camp at Drew University Monday, July 18, officials said. : 8 Saint Clare’s ER Patients Evacuated Due To Mechanical Fire, Heavy Smoke
Eight patients were evacuated from the emergency room of Saint Clare’s Hospital in Denville due to heavy smoke conditions from a mechanical fire Monday afternoon, authorities said. The fire broke out in an air handler on the roof due to a mechanical failure around 12 p.m. Monday, Denville Police Capt. Jeffrey Tucker said. Once the fire was doused, the heavy smoke spread through a portion of the building and led to patients’ evacuation, Tucker said.
